Our shelves are regularly rotated with favourite bottles from around the world, all of which are available to take away or drink in.
Our direct relationships with smaller producers mean we take great pleasure in relating their stories. Just ask us for recommendations and we're always happy to help.
Whether Old or New World, traditional or contemporary, organic, biodynamic or natural wines, we pride ourselves in finding the right bottle for you.
BAR & TERRACE
With an outdoor terrace of seats and tables on Pavilion Road and an intimate upstairs space that's also home to our fine wine section (see below), we also offer a varied, seasonally changing range of wines to drink by-the-glass.
What's more, all bottles in the shop are available to enjoy here for a small corkage, as well as a selection of bar snacks.
MUM'S THE WORD
Mum's The Word is our small fine wine section, which you will find upstairs at Mother Vine. It is our secret collection of mature wines sourced from private cellars and fine wine brokers at excellent prices.
We typically source just one or two bottles of each wine, so these treats don't last long and there is always something new and exciting on the rack.
Just don't tell too many people... Mum's the word!
ABOUT US
Established in November 2021, Mother Vine is Sloane Square’s neighbourhood wine shop & bar on Pavilion Road, and a personal reflection of our journey through the world of wine: the places, people and wines we love. We have created a space to share with you and relate the stories behind the bottles, which available to take home or enjoy on the terrace and in our upstairs space.
From everyday bottles to the finest rarities, we pride ourselves on being a destination for locals and visitors to the area alike to pick up an interesting bottle or relax with something from our seasonal range of wines by-the-glass.
